Game under development

Post by Insinuator »

A group of students at my charter school are generating ideas for a game much like Wesnoth. It may involve insects and other bug stuff in an RPG-TBS combo. Though I am not proficient in C++, I was wondering if we could take a look at BFW's engine. Although we doing our program in Java (that's the language we're learning, so it was required), I thought some of the coding principles used in BFW might be useful. We still haven't come up with much solid stuff, but I'm hoping it won't die out.

Thanks.

Sure you can look at Wesnoth's engine. It's Free software, meaning the source code is freely available.

See the 'Downloads' section of the website under 'Source Code'.
