Mouse-click past "Enemy spotted!"

It'd be really handy to mouse-click past the "Enemy spotted" message. I think the main reason this is so annoying is that you're moving about using the mouse and you suddenly have to toggle back to keyboard.

I believe if you click on the screen during that message your unit will move to where you clicked, this being intentional...
If white was black and black was white, what would happen to zebra crossings?

I think that it should just be a message that flashes in the top of your screen but does not interrupt gameplay. I find it rather annoying
