ah so an event can be removed by an sub-event placed in itself that uses event's id= to remove it after triggering once, ok that should function.
edit 2: decided that this will be an +1.13.x addon for wml reasons. Still feel free to suggest any titles, surnames or such for which units to add. :P

Substring will be problematic with translations again - maybe keep the original base name in a separate variable?
