I would also like to see how dark green boots look.

Why does the forest-stealth upgrade now carry a sword? I liked the old pose much better...

Yeah, I can appreciate that the sword reflects the Ranger's skill in melee as well as ranged combat, but I really think it looks worse than the old image.

Other images look improved though, I think.

The fighter line: Good, better than the current images.
The Archer, Avenger and Sharpshooter: Ditto.
The Marksman looks like its arm isn't attached (there's a really dark line seperating it) and the Ranger's sword still detracts just slightly from the picture (though if the others get in, the Ranger kind of goes with the package...)

It's mighty easy to fix the single, standing frames for the marksman and the ranger - the marksman to acquiese to EP's concerns, the ranger to fix what dave saw.

I'm inclined to agree with you guys on that.

This would mean I have to fix a whopping four pictures out of 105.

wheee.

Added the new NON-SWORD-RANGER frames to the big package containing all of them.

And, I uh, don't really know just what you mean, EP, but I am happy to fix it.
Please, gimme a close up that shows me exactly what it is*, and I'll see what I can do.

*this means, highlight the offending pixels, one way or another.

Uh... oops.

What I'm seeing is actually a problem caused by Safari displaying .pngs wrongly.

Perhaps the brown would look less like mud if you darkened the outlines a bit. The old images have very black outlines, the new ones outlines are very subtle and harder to see. Something in the middle would be better. Also its a very pale brown you've chosen, maybe just a tad more saturation would look better.

I dislike this change. I believe I count as "normal" despite beating FF1...mainly for "dork points", though.

 to pale brown boots

For what it's worth, I do like the new Elves, despite having beaten three Final Fantasy games (I, and American "II" [actually IV in easy mode] and "III" [actually VI]). Brown boots and belts look so much better than all green!

Some of the units are wonderful (the Elven Avenger with brown looks even cooler), but some are just an eyesore.

The Elvish Fighter and the Elvish Archer, for example, look pretty bad with the new color. It really needs to be a "secondary" color for their entire graphic, rather than just below the waist. As it is now, though, it just looks out of place.

I like the new graphics ^_^

but two things.

1. I like the graphics...Wait i allready said that...

2. OT but whatever, Um all of my games in CIV reach the modern age...only takes me about 30 minutes to do so too :p

C. I am normal...just because i beat FF1, FF2, FF6, FF7, FF9, FF10,FF10-2 shouldn't mean that i am not normal :[

The Elvish Champion wrote:I have considered what the Elvish Pillager told me and I decided to follow that suggestion. These are examples of some units that I would like to be added:

Hedgehog:
HP: 40
Melee:5-2
Range:7-3
XP:0/40
Advances to: Fire Hedgehog

Bear:
HP: 48
Melee: 17-2
Range:None
XP:0/58
Advances to: Grizzly
These would only be used if you say used the campaign i suggested in the centaur topic
