Lobby loggins in chat log

Post by LonKaer »

I am unable to find an option to hide or remove the lobby loggins from the chat log. It is quite annoying to have to carefully filter through the the increadible number of lobby loggins when trying to find dialouge from earlier in a game.

I propose that there should be an option to hide the lobby loggins, so that it would be easier to veiw the dialouge of a game.

Another idea would be to make the lobby loggins another color, or something that clearly distinguishes them from the game dialouge.

I don't see why lobby logins should go in the chatlog at all, regardless of any settings. It's not like you need them later when watching a replay.

There is an option to do that. It's in the multiplayer section of prefrences.

Not for when you view the chatlog (default hotkey alt+c IIRC). This is what they're talking about I think.

I am speaking of the "alt-c" chatlog, and as far as I know, there is no option to get rid of the loggins in that "alt-c" chatlog. I suppose that was a little unclear according to the quote that ElvinKing posted.

No worries, we all do it.

Anyways, this doesn't seem like a bad idea, is there any dev comments?

Hmm, looks like a bug. I'll have a look. Could you please file a report to http://bugs.wesnoth.org?

Thank you, I actually found time to fix it right now but bug reports are generally a good idea so an issue is not forgotten.
