Dwarf Fortress

Post by Midnight_Carnival »

This game looks fascinating, immersive and really well made.
There is a lot of detail and well, a lot...
mainly just a lot.

But...
I can't figure it out.
I mean I have watched tutorial videos on youtube, etc and I still can't figure it out.

Is it unfair to call this game byzantine?

Any players out there want to fill me in since I don't have an IQ of over 200 or 5 years of time to study this game.

...apparenly we can't go with it or something.

What not to understand ? You spend ages making your fortress and then it gets destroyed...

Game motto of DW - "Losing is Fun"
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
Playing Wesnoth since 2010, still there is so much left to play

Hm, right. In the newer versions there was a ton of improvements. And yeah, not as good as bfw in many ways, mainly because no MP.
