bone zords

Post by Midnight_Carnival »

 :augh: :augh:
Inspired by Power Rangers I came up with an idea for a new line of Undead units.
A necromancer raises skeletons but incomplete ones, and he doesn't send them out to battle, he wears them as a sort of living armour.
The first stage is when he has this powered suit type thing made of undead skeletons fused around him or maybe unfused and kind of clambering over him. He's a lot tougher and stronger as a result.
The second stage is when he has a huge pile of skellies around him and become a Bone Behemoth, then the bones start to grow into his body, sharing his life force and fusing with his skeleton. At this stage he can not live without his "suit"
In the third stage his mind is taken over by the mass of undead, nobody including the former necromancer can tell which of the skeletons in the pile was his, there is no humanity left whatsoever, only a jibbering, clattering mass of hungry death.
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.

Reminds of the Bone Armor in Disciples 2 created by Mortis the godess of death.

Was it like a "bone mech"?

Anyway, the highest level unit would have an ability not yet present in Wesnoth.
It could merge with another of the same time of unit healing it fully plus giving it a substantial boost to HP and damage which deteriorates over time until it is back to the original stats.
Would be a very high level unit since it starts off a necromancer who is... level 3(?)
lv 6 undead monstrosity able to merge with others of it's kind ... not pretty.
what should I call it?
How about a "necrometal"?
