chicken or the Orc?

Post by Midnight_Carnival »

I have this uncanny suspicion that this thread is going to get me into trouble, but I just have to ask.
Which came first? Heir to the Throne Campaign or In the Name of the King (Uwe Bhol movie)? the similarities are too many to suggest coincidence.
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.

The one that obviously came first, obviously came first. Why are you pretending to not know?

I don't care about movies. What I want to know is:

Why did the Orc cross the road?
I forked real life and now I'm getting merge conflicts.

Depends.
HttT was first campaign, so perhaps a date of 2003.
In the name of the King was 2007.
However, the movie was based off a game that was made in 2002.

I think turkeys came first because Thanksgiving is really important.

Hey, wasn't there some petition or something people could sign where Uwe Bhol promised to stop making movies if he got over X number of signatures? please post a link to it, I would love to sign it several times.

Well, I remember something where Uwe Boll was like,
So, you want to criticize my moviemaking? Well, I'll bet you can't beat me … at boxing!
and he then proceeded to challange some of those to a boxing match.

That is not an exact quote, but I think it jabs to the heart of the matter better than Uwe's rationale.

That was an awful movie. I think I watched it for about 5 minutes, tops, before switching it off in disgust. And that coming from someone who loves the genre.

What similarities? As far as I can tell, the only similarity is that in the movie the king is named Konreid, which is similar to the name ofHeir to the Throne's hero Konrad.
