how to use IRC

I installed HydraIRC but I dont know how to find a channel and then join it. I want to join the wesnoth IRC... please help

Then it totally depends on client you use, unless you use mirc I have no idea how you need to do it.

Every IRC client I’ve used this millennium either says how to join a channel in its documentation (Irssi, WeeChat) or is fairly self-explanatory (Quassel). Have you checked your client’s documentation? Or, if you can’t figure out how to join a channel in your client, maybe try a different client?

figured it out finally but i gotta say that the documentation of hydra irc is not very noob friendly
