lots of people "facecheck" (aka run into bushes alone without wards or other ways of checking) and he will silence you and spin. its quite epic. it seems to be a running joke in the forum. lots of people think Garen is overpowered right now.

theres also the joke about the guy who heard a bush shout demacia and then garen popped out and killed him. Garen's natural habitat are bushes, him and fiddle both. ^^

Fiddle because of channeling AOE ult, I presume? Anyway, thanks for the explanation, though I'd be inclined to think that anybody with a stun/taunt/snare and a nuke would be equally good if not better at it.

Anyway, looking forward to getting schooled by you, Jozrael. By the way, would anybody happen to know a good way to get to 100% dodge? AFAIK there's no cap on dodge, and I think it would be quite nice to run around dodging everything that doesn't autohit, but the only way I could see to do it would be to get all dodge runes and then stack Ninja Tabi and Phantom Dancers. It'd make Jax mean, that's for sure.

I don't think its possible actually, since dodge doesn't stack additively. ex: 3 phantom dancers will only get you 49% dodge even though 20+20+20=60. you could stack 6 phantom dancers and you would only reach ~75% dodge.

Really? It says x% dodge, so I just presumed it added that percentage to your dodge chance. What is the equation then?

well i dont know about dodge, but some things do hit a maximum, like attack speed can only go up to 2.5.

well thats the scary thing about garen, he can dish out a crapload of damage and is very beefy at the same time. then you get low on health and he will ult you its troublesome. and that shield of his blocks so much damage...

Yeah, but the only maximums I know of are 2.5 for attack speed and 40% cooldown reduction. As a matter of fact, I do believe I heard those in this very thread; I may be wrong though. Anyway, he's not saying there's a cap, just that there's a diminishing returns effect (if I understand correctly.) Anyway, I'll have to try it out - just do a 1v0 against the computer, get some Philosopher's Stones, keep the stats page open, and stack Ninja Tabi.

EDIT: A quick thought: the diminishing returns don't seem to apply to runes (or at least I can put two Lesser Seals of whateverthenameis on there and get the full benefits from both,) so . . . *does math* . . . that's still only an 11.25% chance at level 30 with Seals and Quints all Dodge. Bah. Also, I did the experiment, and got 12% from one Tabi, 23% from two, 32% for three, and 40% from four. Now, I wonder if the diminishing returns applies to dodge in general, or just stacking the same source . . . another experiment to try, I guess.

Ah. Thanks much. By the way, I'll be free later today (hopefully - there might be something going on that I don't know about,) so does anybody want a game?

Send him a friend request. His name (and a lot of other people's) are on the first post of this thread.

EDIT: Oh, and a little tip for new players

I can't remember, the price of being in college your mind turns into a sieve. :(

I probably got on, hung around a while and then started homework or something.
