I know that 273 has that significance, but that's not why it's my favorite number. I came up with it a long time ago, before I knew anything about chemistry.

Maybe subconsciously you wished to be a chemist/physicist from early age on... It's never to late for that! Come on and join the force!

I just noticed something I will nitpick on. :D In the past, chemists used "degrees kelvin", but that's been replaced with "kelvins" to emphasize it's an absolute scale and not a degree scale (since 0 kelvins = 0) and so the standard is now "0 K" instead of "0 °K".

[serious this time is serious]
I used to play X-Men on the sega genisis. He was my favorite character.
I grew up, my paranoid parents insisted that I not enter my real name into Pokemon silver. I chose Gambit.
I grew up more, liked chess.
I grew up more, started signing up on forums and other internety things. I kept Gambit.

boring personal back story:
I started using "The Cricket" after Gambit started being taken all the time. But then it started being taken too, so I combined the two. Cricket+Gambit=Grickit

No idea, but that's a link to viewforum/Off-Topic. You probably wanted a link to SFault's profile.
