You get a snake, about five inches long, that telepathically communicates with you; it is sentient but not sapient, and will obey you when you contemplate writing anything anywhere. The snake's belly is lined with cilia, and can slither rather quickly to any location you want it to write, where it will write exactly what you wanted to in your handwriting with its fangs, which, instead of being loaded with poison, are filled with naturally produced professional-quality calligraphy ink. The snake requires feeding every week, and it must consume an ink stick at least two inches long to be able to write. This is the only food the snake will ever need; the snake has no upper limit to its lifespan. In addition, if you feed it a depleted pen, the snake will shift its scales to be colored similarly to the pen.
You get a jacket. Upon closer inspection, you see that its sleeves are full of star-shaped patches. Touching one, you feel lighter and lighter, until you start floating up. You are now stuck near the ceiling of the room you're in, unable to move.
