Hey, just a warning: George Lucas has copyrighted the word "Droid". The new cell-phone that uses that as its name in America (called something else in some parts of the world) uses "Droid" with permission from Lucas.

I swear I've seen "droid" in things other than Starwars... but now that I think about it, I can't bring any examples to mind... I guess you learn something new every day.
