If you're trying to be funny, either come up with some more original material or stope, remember it's difficult to gague the tone of a post on a forum.

I just said I was suprised to see a good looking girl play wesnoth, as most people look really ugly thats what I said, I guess I broke a holy forum rule don´t say the truth about looks from people on forums, because they will feel insulted by the truth.

Sorry I never really like stupid rules like these, if you good looking people will say it, but if you bad looking they will act like hypocrites and not say what they think.

The first rule of the posting guidelines is Be Polite. Calling someone ugly is an insult, and therefore isn't polite. Being polite has everything to do holding back the truth.

See, I want to call you a ****ing *****, which certainly would be the truth, but out of politeness and the respect of the forum rules, I will keep that truth to myself.

Ever heard of "if you haven't got anything good to say, don't say it at all". Common curtosy shouldn't need to be a forum rule. It is however, in the posting guidelines (which are the widely accepted rules of this forum).

Or at least civil. Remember that tone is hard to judge on the internet, so if you are not sure if what you post will sound offensive, err on the side of caution. Trolling or inciting flame wars may result in deletions, lockings, or bannings.

Personally I think the only thing calling others ugly is just petty and even arrogant. Especially concerning a relative concept such as beauty, just because you don't find someone attractive doesn't mean everyone agrees. What should looks matter anyway? Beauty is but skin deep.

Here's an updated photo. It was shot in a bathroom mirror with my crappy cell phone so it's not that great. But, at least I get to revive and old thread! When I get my next phone it'll have a better camera and I'll send in another one.
