wesnoth translation method

hi i am junior developer of tuxmath game.i am very much impressed from the langage change game option of wesnoth.i want to develop same kind of option for tuxmath.i have have build wesnoth from source please guide me how the language change method works in wesnoth.
i shall be thankful to all of you for this kindness.
