Today someone submitted some updates for italian translation regarding mainly bad variables translation ( i.e. $number in source and $num in translation, or any sort of mistake like that). This remind me and old trick to check this kind of errors:
GNU/Linux is very good, it can display Chinese characters in other font automatically when you use a font that contains only English characters as default.

When the .pot file is made it has a lot of extra stuff in there _other_ than the original text. Line numbers in particular. I was wondering if those line numbers are required?
