1. If I want to download a another campaign it says Awaiting response... and doesn't continue (maybe a problem with my router?)

2. If I want to start a new campaign the game crashes...

I'm trying to compile wesnoth 0.8 on Solaris sparc but I run into symbol referencing errors. I'm using the following:

When I run Wesnoth the screen goes blank and it says Frequency out of range 68k / 84 Hz . I've tried 0.7.10 and 0.7.9 on Windows 2000 Professional. I don't know if the program is running ok because i don't have sound but if I press Esc it closes ok and the desktop appears.

In a campaign a race joins the hero for a number of scenarios. But at the end of these scenarios I want to get rid of that race. Can I use kill
with a race and if so, how?

If you have a unit with 1 xp to advance and 1 health, and it has a ranged attack, and a nearby lvl 1 enemy does not... don't you shoot at that enemy and advance as opposed to attacking a different archer-type unit with melee, and risking death? :?

Versiontracker states a new release is out, but although there are BeOS and Windows binaries for 0.8.5, there is not an OS X disk image on the Sourceforge FTP server. Waaah! :(
