Several of our mainline campaigns are in the works for upgrades at the moment, which includes adding characters and enhancing existing scenarios. We are looking for more artwork to supplement these upgrades, including the following:

4 portraits (3 are variations of a character)

I'm playing HttT on medium difficulty and am attempting to beat both leaders on Isle of the Damned. I'm wondering (for those of you who've done it) what you did. Here's what I've been trying:

- Merman rush in one direction, while maintaining a defensive front to occupy the main mass of the enemy...

Okay I just restarted Hier to the Throne and got to Seige of Elensenfar in 20 minutes flat here is what i got!

Konrad lvl 2
Elvish Shyde lvl 3
Elvish Captain close to lvling
Elvish Ranger
Elvish Rider
Elvish Hero
Mage halfway to lvling
Elvish Druid
Elvish Shamen close to leveling

I got two Shydes...

How do you beat Drakes as Northeners? Drakes are fast and take 3/4 of map quickly. I can almost always beat their first wave but i cant do that and take a lot of the map, i allways get beaten by their second wave.
My start is:
2 Assassins
2 Trolls
2 Grunts
1 Wolf (if enough tiles)

I have been playing HttT, and I decided I would play with an army consisting mostly of the Elvish Shaman, Horsemen and Mage lines. I may add Thief lines when I get them.
I didn't absolutely forbid myself from other units, but I think using these three unit lines will be just as powerful a mixture...

I think dwarves will run the game because from the start of 8.11 I have seen more dwarve players then in any other version.

Also dwarves have pretty well balanced units(thanks to the outlaw units) :D

And in 9.0 dwarves will be overly upgraded!!

I have had those as a problem in some MP games I played. The enemy bought a couple of them in the beginning and some more in the future.

While I'm trying to get them killed, they get some berserks and fighters... and I have no chance anymore.

With dwarves having no really big weaknesses, on small...

I've been playing Test of the Clan. The Clansmen are WAY, WAY, WAY, too smart. My army is nigh-invincible, so instead of fighting, they stay out of my way, always standing slightly beyond my units' reach but close enough that I have to constantly stay in a defensive formation. Does anyone else think water units are really ruining the game?

In my opinion they are, for example, a water battle on blitz, usually consists of water units being used, say one water unit is on a terrian that gives him 70% defense, while another is also on a terrian that gives him 70% defense....

This is making me angry, I can't recall all my units or I won't have the money for the bomber. So I can't recruit any units to hold the orcs. I managed to pass all my units throught the bridge and wait for turns to end but then I lost (you need to bomb the bridge).
I have a lot of level 3 units...

I'm playing through on medium difficulty and I've completed Anduin twice-- once with 300 gold and once with 400. The game where I got more money, I got less xp and finished the scenario with one fewer units (a newly minted knight).

The extra 100 gold buys 5 characters, and the knight isn't worth 5...

all you have to do is follow these steps and you will beat the comp 75% of the time.

1)use rebels and get elvish ranger.

2)put your elvish ranger hidden in the forest north of your castle.(YOU WILL SEE 3 TILES OF FOREST PUT YOUR RANGER ON 1 OF THEM.......DONT RECRUIT ANY UNITS YET.)YOU NEED TO...
