There is one thing I don't understand with orc shamans.
I think that their price is much too high. Their attack is quite weak, and they have very few HP (20). They can't even advance. So why are they so expensive? Nobody would like to use them.

Why is that? Isn't it a bit under-powered?

I've started making a cooperative MP scenario that should give a mini-campaign feel. The idea is that instead of actually ending one scenario and starting another, the map just unfolds and new enemies and challenges appear. I could use some ideas for plot and for tactical challenges to spring on...

One thing that has been bugging me is that both Dwarvishfoot and Mountainfoot have a better defense on snow ( 40% ) then on grassland ( 30% ). Their movement is still hindered when traveling over it, so why?

I'm running 0.9.4, and it has worked fine until now, I was playing a 2vs2 and I got a Network Error Disconnection message. After that I was taken back to Wesnoths Main Menu, and when I try to connect it says 'Could Not Connect to Host'.

I changed the multiplayer.cfg file to allow me to be a Dark Elf faction. For some reason, it won't let me recruit. It won't even bring up the recruit window. I can add DE units to the Undead, and I can recruit them. I even changed the units.cfg file to include Dark Elves. What did I miss?

Well, this is my first attempt at a Wesnoth map. At the moment I'd consider it to be at 'beta' status, ready for play but could probably use some refinement.

It's intended to be played as a 3 v 3, although 2 v 2 and free for all would also work.

Basically, each player has their own starting area...

I think with the new steadfast the Merman Hoplite needs some improvement (if i understand the explanation it doubles positive resistances at defense, but does not make them higher than 50%).
Comparing him with the Merman Triton (I have the stats from the Wiki Unitlist):
