Re: MP Access persistent variable before scenario start

Ah thx... was expecting that but I wasn't sure if there aren't any secret features hidden somewhere or if I missed some documentation on my way. Those are sad news :( and unfortunately whole issue makes persistent variables crippled in MP context. The very base usage of them I am able to think of is...

MP Access persistent variable before scenario start

Can I access persistent variable before scenario starts (by that I mean: anything will be drawn on screen) in 1.9 multiplayer game? If not are there any workarounds for the issue?

Re: Ladder Site Online...

Nah I never had in mind to undermine ones achievements but OTOH this is a bit different approach on climbing ladders than what some other players done in the past. Anyways TS obviously looks a lot better than ELO but I wonder what are impressions of more of you and most of all if you think its good ...

Re: Ladder Site Online...

Great work on the whole TrueSkill thing :). Do you still have that code that draws charts? I thought it may be interesting to see progression of Owlface and species_8472 as both of them picked strategy to minimize risk by playing mostly weak players (mostly is a bit abusive in context of Owlface :P)...

Re: Ladder Site Online...

I agree with anything that nebula955 said so far. Still its unbelievable that somebody thought that having open registrations and this little message: 'You can have only one account on ladder' is so incredibly lame :). Cmon is this for real ;) ? Anybody even thought it may work ;) ? This makes discu...

Re: The Modern Multiplayer Map Reader's Digest

As it comes to HGB: dont you think its very similar to old hornshark?

It has two exposed villages and you can take/threat third one round after taking control after them. It has different terrain and keep layout but I dont know if that this is a key point :hmm:.

Re: Ladder Site Online...

I for example have ~10 differend ladder nicks ;), and I'm proud of all of them :P. S...
