Re: Art Development for Era of the Future(critiques welcome)

It's better. Now all it's missing is an army sergeant to yell out pushup orders shading.

Re: Insane Hermit (Artwork Thread)

Meh. It was like only 10 minutes of MS Paint, and I didn't bother really editing the original pallete from the Energy-Ice warrior guy that much. If someone wants they can recolor it. I was just trying to add a more ice-like shape to his underlayer, below the rock pieces.

Re: A-Red's sprite art (Sorrow, etc)

And that's why I'm not wearing any right now. I like the change to the Plague Bearer's eyes. Suggestion time (Imagination engine charged at full capacity...) Make the level 3 version of Plague Bearer like a shriveled up mummy-skeletal corpse lying on the ground with all these tentacles coming out of...

Re: A-Red's sprite art (Sorrow, etc)

Heavy Thrall. + Sunglasses. = Looks like a medieval Terminator. Make eyeholes look like eyeholes. Maybe antialiase the edges or something. You've been told this before and I agree. And I really do think you should darken the plague bearer's skin. No real explanation except that all zombies look dark...

Koopa!

Shells are usually smooth. Get a highlight tone to represent that smooth shinyness on the shell.

We can all tell the head is from the drakes XD. Get a custom head. The styles really clash.

Re: Insane Hermit (Artwork Thread)

I tried to make the Ice Warrior more Icy. Hope this helps. (Also hope this isn't hijacking)

Re: My Artwork and Looking for Suggestions

I personally liked the first version of the runeblade's sword best. It looked battle scarred, though I'm not sure if that was intentional. With the newest's legs, I suggest moving the foot back with the left leg.

Re: A-Red's sprite art (Sorrow, etc)

With the Thrall, besides the obvious sunglasses, I find his legs a bit irritating. I don't really know why; to me they just look something like long flesh blobs. Maybe a bit more definition on where his foot meets with the leg would help, as well as maybe defining the knee. The arm seems to be simil...

Re: Zero's Topic Of Random Graphics

Revival time. The head... Yeah. Haven't had time to fine tune the custom head... This is what I have now. The new one should be (painfully) obvious. http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/9099/elvishchanneler.png I should do something with the eyes and the head proportions to make him look less... Fat. ...

Re: Art Development for Era of the Future(critiques welcome)

Still a bit too bright IMHO. I think you need to add a medium color between the bright blue and the bright green on the robes for shading.

3. Suggest, don't debate. If you critique and the artist disagrees, drop it. You've shared your critique, it's up to them to accept it or not. But of course, I'm probably just a noob trying to act like a moderator... Still, my turn to join the line of people waiting. The feet look like they're bent...

You might have saved it in JPEG? That destroys color purity.

Re: Zero's Topic Of Random Graphics

Okay, thanks guys. Since apparently frankensteins are allowed, I'll post, I think 2 more units. First, the first Wesnoth sprite I made. It's some sort of Elven bodybuilder gangster with blings dude. Not much to say. Almost completely scratched besides the head and the Loincloth, which I edited off t...

Two first-page posts in spoilers below, both outdated to varying degrees. Update. Steelhive died again. I'm doing Mermen. You all should know this. I am so tired of fish people. Fish fish fish everywhere. Do you know I had fish for dinner last night? I hate fish now. ARRRGGGHHHHhhhh... :P Upgrade Pa...
