Re: Scenario Review - EI: Captured

This is a known bug and a fix is already created, but not yet live. You can manually fix it for yourself though. Find the scenario file (in your Wesnoth directory\data\campaigns\Eastern_Invasion\scenarios) and either make changes in it yourself or replaced the file with the fixed one from github. He...

Re: Puzzle challenges!

The second pile. In the first pile your first selection has 50% of success (getting white sock), followed by another 50% of success (getting another white sock), in total 25% of success. In the second pile, whatever you select as first is a success and then you have 33% chance of success from the s...

Re: Puzzle challenges!

In front of you are two fuses, both a meter long, and a lighter. You know that if you lit one end of either fuse on fire, it would take exactly one hour for the entire thing to burn away. Your task is to use these two fuses to measure exactly 45 minutes. You light one fuze from both sides and the s...

Re: Remakes to stop!

Ok, I see what's your reasoning, even though I think it's a bit creative (using same logic you could take any GPL program, change it somehow, claim the changes are separate programs and thus do not have to be GPLed). But in general, yes, this should be easier with a licence that is better suited to ...

Re: Remakes to stop!

So no, the whole game doesn’t need to the GNU GPL, but the graphics they use from us (and any other graphics that constitute derivative work) from do need to be. Interesting. I always assumed that the whole product containing some GPL work is considered derivative and as such must be GPL as well. S...

Oh, that would be really nice to have. I cannot count the times I have missed something due to accidently clicking mouse.

Re: Oath of Allegiance [SP Desert People Campaign for 1.13.5]

I got to the 9. level, Shadow of Isanbar and unfortunately I have to say the level managed to make me quit the campaign. It's not that it is hard, it's just so long and boring and when I have finally managed to reach the objective, I was told I have to reach the other end of the map (cave map) and I...

Re: Oath of Allegiance [SP Desert People Campaign for 1.13.5]

I am enjoying the campaign, but I have encountered a problem with Oath of Allegiance 1.16.2, Scenario 4, A Whisper in the Sands. When I move a unit next to the general in the fort, the exclamation point above him goes away, but I cannot interact with him or his troops in any way. There is no story ...

Re: Oath of Allegiance [SP Desert People Campaign for 1.13.5]

Knockback ability doesn't seem to work with the dune guardsman unit. As others pointed out already, it works for Dawoud and regardless if he hits the enemy or not.

Re: To Lands Unknown 3.0 for 1.14

some maps are very difficult to read in terms of what kind of terrain is where. There is one scenario with dunes that actually has 2 different types of terrain, but it's completely not visible. Those two terrain types are used to simulate "climbing" the dunes. If you look closely at the m...

Re: To Lands Unknown 3.0 for 1.14

Hey, I have just recently finished To Lands Unknown and I thought I'll share my feedback here. Overall I had a really good time. What I liked: - the visuals, of course, some maps are simply stunning - how different the campaign is to the mainline campaigns - length (not too short, not too long) - pr...

Re: Rough outline for a campaign "The northern province"

Hey Saloghost, thanks for detailed answer. I have to say I am now even more interested what will come out of this. Some things to consider: - portraying racists as simply evil people who simply do cruel things because they can (Governor seems to be like this), it's easy to make racism look simply as...
