Erm, those are officially supported - {./scenarios} is used in 1.16's World Conquest, and they're both used in 1.17's Winds of Fate.

The achievements are just tracked in-game, they're not related to Steam achievements.

Known bug #2: planning mode crashes when attacking. #7398

Both known bugs (the other one is the add-on version check being too strict) are going to be fixed in the 1.17.14 (next month).

Having played this campaign multiple times, and giving up on bothering with the dialogue at some point every time, I, to this day, have a very vague idea about who exactly Konrad is, why he was with the elves to begin with, how old he is, and why all this is happening at the moment it is happening....
