Re: Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

well. could try to copy/paste the head to one of yours and then adjust the coloring pattern and shadin from this mintoaur head to the rest of body. once you did it and you satisfied with it, you can try to recolor that colring pattern using the shame shading. you can also try to adjust the hors sta...

Re: Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

i find you wonder how minotaurs could look like in a wesnoth-ish artstyle. I'd dont know the artist who did this, but they are taken from the era The Golden Age. these are high quality sprites in my opnion for a wesnoth game and fid your vision of minotaurs: oversized, muscular and wielding big wea...

Re: Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

Looking at the sprites I have an issue with the heads. At first look it is hard to tell the snout along with the eyes, nostrils, and the mouth. The only one i can see clearly is minotaur_axe. Also the horns are in a weird position. To me the minotaur_shepherd's hips look weird. Possibly the shading...

Indifference

Indifference, that is the cardinal sin of the vampirekind. With the passing times most lose their interest.. in everything. At first, there's all this ordeal about coping with a newly born existence, acquiring sustenance, avoiding the sun, hurrying and rushing from one thing to the next, fear, lust ...

Bloodlegacy (vampire faction) & art

Note: You can select any number of options in the poll Rewritten contents for the initial post Briefing This thead is for the development of this vampire faction, which so far doesn't have a name. Instead of having a separate thread in the Faction & Era development forums I'm intending to use t...

Re: Building an alternative to ActionWML

Forgive me for participating into the conversation despite not having enough experience with any of the topics at hand, C++, Lua or ActionWML. For starters I have to say that I appreciate the intent of the author here, WML syntax for conditionals, loops and the like seems burdensome and it would be ...

Re: UREpic Era

I tried working on some of the images today morning and decided to try and do a new version of the cruiser images. Feel free to use them in your era & campaign if you think they're good enough to replace their predecessor images. I think I'll try and do some new images for the other units, possi...

Re: Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

the shoulders and biceps look well trained now. he feels very strong. too bad he is just a sheppard. I thought that it's kind of silly that the shepherd looks strong  But I guess it's okay also the axe on the last minotaur could have some more lighter pixels, since I guess it is having a metta...

Re: Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

Nice! These are the best Minotaurs that I've seen around here. Thanks sort of wasn't expecting anyone to find these good. would say that you probably want to avoid having a character actually looking directly south (at least in a base frame). I guess because they're normally facing like South-east?...

Re: Altered era/ruleset

I discovered this add-on yesterday and have not gotten around to playing a game with it yet. It has not even been possible, because the wesnoth.org DNS has expired and there has not been many people on the multiplayer servers. I found this add-on interesting and wanted to create a forum reply to the...

Re: Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

Here I tried making a new version of the shepherd. I think it's slightly better but still has largely similar problems as the previous minotaurs do minotaur_shepherd_2.png And here are also new versions from the first two minotaurs.. well they are actually second and third , since the first was the ...

Re: Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

Hello there. i wonder why so many people started on working Minotaurs. Just yesterday somebody posted new sprites on the discord server. anyway. I like the pose of the sprites but they do not look like wesnoth sprites. there multiple reasons for that: - the sprites are too large, they are as big as...

Minotaurs - Assistance with polishing?

Recently I made this limited version of ageless era called old era (forum thread link: https://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=48890 ), I wanted to create some composite factions into the era by merging units from other factions within the ageless era. One of the composite factions I'd l...

Re: UREpic Era

Considering the flavour of the story I find this era considerably interesting. Also got a bit enthusiastic thinking about the possibilities of defining a game for multiplayer. So here are some possibilities to consider: -------- 3 player game - "mainframe & hacker": Goal of FR33 in thi...
