Can I use some units from the Kalifa faction, such as the Amir and Ghulam, along with what they level into?
I plan to add the faction to the conquest add-on, so long as its ok with the artists.

I somewhat recently made Conquest_Thebes, inspired by the city of Thebes, in Egypt. Its a normal sized map, with 63 villages, and it pretty well balanced for standard games. So I recently made a mini conquest map called Conquest Xanthor, and am attempting to post it here, so that anybody can play it. Well, one way that you could probably greatly reduce the undead threat on Wesnoth is making the 20 gold unit a necromancer instead of a spectre, that way it would be hard for the undead to hit Wesnoth with really strong units, so Wesnoth can put somewhat strong units to guard vs ghosts, and it will ...

I feel like conquest is about to become even more complicated, which might make it more unpopular. One of the main reasons why people don't play it is because the game is so long, and if you add all of this stuff of peasants doing tons of work, then it will only make the game longer.

About the bonuses, well, sure bonuses might give more gold then villages, until you have workers, and then the villages give you more gold then the actual bonus. So I don't think the bonus should be reduced, or else the importance of the bonus in the game would be lost, and people would simply care ...

The same thing has also been happening to me. Like elvish_sovereign, I am also on a mac with 1.8. I got the Europe map from the add-on server, if that makes any difference.
