Some chaos descriptions. I'll do a few everyday :) Hounds: Trained hunting dog are ferocious animals, eager to attack in an uncontrolled frenzy. Rabid Hound: Dog infused with chaotic magic turn rabid. The magic degrades their mind and turns them into slavering beasts that hunger for bloodshed. Warp ...

Hey truper. Thanks for catching the wyrm description :) Edited my post. Some responses about the dark elves: 1. While theoretically better, a higher attack lower damage unit tends to be very awkward to use. In combat situations, it generally requires 2 hits to kill an enemy (as opposed to the 1-hit ...

Hey Noyga and Temuchin, I've been playing with dark elves, and I find they are just a weaker version of the elves. So I thought I would write a list of suggestions to bring them up to par. This might be on the lower end of the priority scale, but I thought it should be brought up. Note that these ch...

well here's one that I completed with Krimzon, Alf, and I. We used 3 chaotic factions: Undead, Chaos, and Sidhe which meant no healers. Despite that, we almost cleared the map on turn 39. There were only 12-13 enemy units left. The main reason was because of the new expanded shrine. My Sidhe were hi...

very good work myth! Love the new nagas! One suggestion: elvish bow, if given to a unit without ranged attack, could it give some sort of ranged attack? something like 8-5 marksman or something? Just got into a game where a guy picked it up with a melee unit thinking it gave a ranged attack, which i...

Had a lot of free time today, so I decided to play through TotN again. I left the game open and turned off my screensaver so I could do it in 1 sitting. Adding in the breaks I took, it took a total of 8 hours to beat. Started at 12:30pm and ended at 8:30pm :D. The film SHOULD work (at least, it work...

1.3.1 Temple of the Naga Autosaves crash game.

Just reporting what seems to be a bug. Not sure if it's the map, or just the saves. I played temple of the naga to turn 25 or so yesterday, and tried to load the save today, and they crashed the game. So today I started it from scratch, and played to turn 32 before taking a break this time. When I t...

clonkinator:
I realize.
What I meant was I move the peasant on a spot, click build village, and it won't build even though I have the gold.
THen I move him off, move another peasant on that spot (the same turn) and that one can build it.

You can't rush fencers because of time of day :) Day1 always starts at dawn, which makes it night-time when you reach the opponent. In addition, your saurian skirmishers can be supported by those really fast moving augurs (which are basically low hp mages). But I find both units are used pretty much...

saurian skirmishers are awesome. While their hp is low, they have an incredibly easy time leveling due to the combination of high movement, good movetype, good attack, and skirmish ability. an intelligent one requires 16XP to level, which is exactly 2 kills. So all they need to do is kill 1 unit, su...

Noy: the silverhead crossing game... Gallifax was drakes :) I freely admit Gallifax is a more skilled player than I am at 1v1s, with far more experience. That film was posted more because it showed how the loyalist of a lesser skilled player slaughtered the drakes of a better player. The blitz game,...

Note: I would like to say I'm not arguing it's unbalanced. Again, it's more that I'm searching for answers. :) Ultimatum: Several comments in response: 1: Saurians don't have high dodge without terrain. Assuming you do manage to lure the thunderers off their cliffs, you got a 40% block. On terrain i...

MP Lobby Interface Suggestions

I'm just wondering if these 2 things could possibly be implemented: 1. On the users list to the right, if you click on someone's name, and then type a letter, would it be possible to have it scroll to the next person whose name begins with that letter? This would be similar to say... the Windows int...

Whoa the thread exploded since I last posted  Just a quick comment to Doc: I didn't question your expertise, but I would appreciate it if you share some of that expertise. I think that's what Lunar and ultimatum are saying as well. If writing out a long post is far too tedious, why not give u...
