Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
Wow, your epilogue is a lot better than mine :) Regarding Durnstorn's will to forsake the sceptre, I agree. It might sound more plausible if he wished to rush out against all odds and meet the elves in battle, especially if you consider his bloodthirsty behaviour in earlier scenarios. Naturally such...

Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
I swapped out 'energy' for 'immortality', is that better? I also changed a few semi-colons to periods so they wouldn't be so overused.

Eh, I forgot about it too. But I did a quick search to find that it's all still on my computer so I'm ready

Oh wow, I thought everyone forgot about this
Well I'm still interested in this, and I can still modify anything that needs to be tweaked.

Re: The Fall of Wesnoth - Version 1.0.8 Released!
Prince of Evil is one of the few scenarios where I am really happy to escape. (From my already limited army I lost 3 precious L3 units and several others here - probably the problem was increased by triggering the final enemy quite early with a footpad running ahead.) I killed the final leader (not...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
Maybe a more "noble" and proud posture ? This one doesn't look like he owns the place. Also he makes a very inelegant gesture with his right hand, maybe you can make up a more refined one? And it would look better if he rested his palm on the sword's pommel, than just grabbing it in his h...

Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
Sorry for taking so long with this one. But hey, it's done! There's probably going to be some necessary revisions, but the last scenario is complete!
And I have addressed all mistakes mentioned above.

Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
Somehow a stray word "fare" slipped into the Shorbear file. Probably you typed it while you were trying to do a search and didn't notice it there. Oops, my bad :P Here's a review for the Dragon "help the elves end your injustice acts" help the elves to end your unjust acts...

Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
Thanks. Fixed all the known mistakes. And attached a zip containing The Dragon and all the other updated files. In scenario 8, Khrakrahs doesn't talk anymore. I don't know much about Wesnothian lore concerning this, but I never liked the idea of dragons talking. I always thought that communicating a...

Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
Thanks. Wow I never realized there were so many mistakes. I'll have to be more careful in the future. And yeah, I'm trying to go easy on the semi-colons.
Attached fixed versions and will soon return with Scenario 8!

Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
Scenario 6 (i keep getting the numbers wrong :P) is up! I'm going to take this time to mention that I haven't changed the names of the elvish leader who will make use of Lordbob's portrait yet. I'll leave it to Zookeeper to give him a set name. My plan is that the same elvish marshal is used from sc...

Sorry for lateness. My computer got a virus so I've been busy backing up everything and getting it working again. I'll be able to write again soon though, so stay tuned

Re: Best and Worst MAINLINE campaigns and scenarios
Worst Campaign: Depends. I would have to say the following... 1. Eastern Invasion: Horribly bizarre storyline/dialog. 2. Delfador's Memoirs: Unfinished/unbalanced scenarios. 3. Scepter of Fire: Childish Dialog. 4. An Orcish Incursion: Lame maps. 5. Northern Rebirth: Tedious, and outdated maps (amon...

Re: SoF: Dialog & storyline revision.
@ taptap: absolutely. To be honest, it's the one thing still bothering me. We're pretty much done on every other aspect, but saving the Sceptre while still having everyone else die is one mean task. I always thought the scepter was lava-proof, being appropriately named the Scepter of Fire. However ...
