MP: Dark Forecast (survival)
Is there any way to win this scenario? Even with modified settings -- I canged gold per villiage from 1 to 2 it seems to be impossible: after turn 45 number of rounds prolonged up to 53 and spawns became unbearable: almost each turn a couple of 3rd, 4th and even 5th level units. This seems to be imp...

unit of type not found: DiD -- Forever and Ever, Amen
Hello, I'm using wesnoth-1.5.2 under linux-2.6.24.3. In the "Descent into Darkness" campaign in the "Forever and Ever, Amen" scenario at the beginning of first enemy turn I got: scenario: 'Forever_and_Ever_Amen' next_scenario: 'Forever_and_Ever_Amen' 20080821 22:54:51 error engin...

Re: Top panel bug in wesnoth-1.4.1
The most interesting question is probably: where's your binary from? Standard binary of some distribution or self compiled with which flags? I compiled wesnoth from official sources using xdelta patch 1.4->1.4.1, without any third-party patches using gcc-4.3 compiler. This was complilation in the s...

Top panel bug in wesnoth-1.4.1
I'm using wesnoth-1.4.1 on Linux-2.6.24.3. In the top panel under the game canvas, current time cell and outcome cell overlaps. See attached picture for an example. Popup hints are also broken for this two cells, but they works fine for another ones. This bug is not present in version 1.4 and was ap...

Re: Bug in Eastern Invasion campaign
And IMO this is a bug, because units just disappear. They do not show units lost in events.
But such accounting must be done carefully. In some event (not in this campaign, in general) units may leave by they own wish or somewhat similar.

Re: Bug in Eastern Invasion campaign
Very well.
But why lost units which were not recalled are not displayed in the statistics?
I can't see them in my losses count. They just disappear from the game.

Bug in Eastern Invasion campaign
Hello, I'm using wesnoth-1.4. In Eastern Invasion campaign, in Evacuation mission after blasting the bridge I loose all units to the north of the bridge if any. This is ok. But I loose my veterans were not recalled. As rule of thumb veterans are not affected by scenario (with exception of special pl...

patch for compiling wesnotch with gcc-4.3
Hello,
Some wesnoth source files uses functions from <string.h>, but doesn't include this header explicitely. Thus it is impossible to compile wesnoth with gcc-4.3, which performs stricter source checks.
The following patch fixes this (was checked with versions 1.3.18 and 1.3.19).

segfault on scenario replay in wesnoth-1.3.12
When I try to run autosaved scenario replay of standard campain (e.g. Northern Rebirth) when I run replay itself sometimes I get either segfault or message that replay save is broken. But this file was saved by the same version of the game!
In the attachemnt gdb backtrace is present.

Re: The Rise of Wesnoth: Clearwater Port
(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on? Hard, 1.3.9 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 10, the hardest scenario I've ever seen. I started it with at minimum money level: 100. So I was suffering from lack of units. I recalled all my bravest units...

Just finished The South Guard campain :-). It is beautiful itself, but not the ending. Cold relationships with elfs (not a real war, but their forests are forbidden for humans, and diplomacy is forsaken) are resonable for the ending where you choose bandits in a fog, and actually betreat elfs in a p...
