Re: [UMC] A new way to use experience points
Personally I like the campaigns the most where one could select different (skill) trees and upgrades for units and heroes. The one campaign where there are like 200 scenarios or so and you fight Belzebub was fun. Although a bit over the top. :D But there are other campaigns with interesting progress...

Re: Proposals to improve new player experience
There are too many ideas/suggestions made in this thread for me to comment, so I will pick only one: - I think the idea of a "visual progression" cue is useful. So if I understood the visual mock then the "Continue" has a lighter colour to indicate "look at me" to a new...

Re: [interface] continue key
Hmm. What if rather than a new key, we can use the c key? So, press it once normally - behaviour as-is. But if you press it twice or more than twice then we can enable the functionality above? This might be helpful for people who can just hit down on a key rather than have to learn multiple differen...

Re: Add "Completions" to add-on server
> I think this would go against fresh campaigns making their maiden flight on the server as they would fall into "no completions" too. This could perhaps be solved indirectly e. g. via a special icon that indicates new-ish-ness, so people are encouraged to look at it. E. g. the last 3 or s...

Well, it could perhaps be a bit like Grog in the add-on. Dunefolks hear of
some attack and rally to defend their homes and allies.

Forum Information for campaigns?
This is a bit of a loose suggestion or loose question. I had a look at some of the campaigns (on the forum here) and I think it would be nice if a "general header" could be added to all campaigns there (on the forum, on the very first page of each thread). This information could include, f...

Re: [Poll] Do you play Wesnoth (especially MP Wesnoth) with music?
I in general play without music. This has nothing to do with wesnoth, though. I kind of have videos run in the background on youtube, or play stuff from my local audio playlist or some local video. Or some university lecture. :P These are kind of "more important" than wesnoth music. But it...

Re: Unto Others - A call for participants to play a research scenario
Hmm. I think many people will miss that note here or forget (right now I can not play the scenario due to conflicting schedules). Might be
nice if the scenario could be advertised somehow or so, or highlighted for some time within the add-ons interface.

Big epic campaigns, Wesnoth 2.0 or 3.0 and general epicness - aka "the next big thing" (just discussion though!)
So ... this thread or the topic is a little bit chaotic. I'll explain it in a moment, but I think it is best to explain the CONTEXT first. I have been on and off in regards to wesnoth; I think I was inactive for several years too. Anyway. Many wesnoth folks, in particular the older ones, probably pl...

Re: What would you like to see in a longer Dunefolk campaign?
I forgot the name of the campaign. Best campaign ever was To Lands Unknown; most epic campaign is the legends of the invincibles. But the second best campaign was one with the sexy dwarf on a bear and wyvern riders and so forth. I'd love to see a continuation here, ideally a dunefolk campaign that c...

Re: recall units from one campaign in to another
It would be nice if we could get some visual cue as to which campaigns are related. Perhaps a simple colour bar on the side may help, or some other way. You can reason that "Legend of the invincibles" is related due to the name, yup, I understand that, but I am thinking more of some way to...

Re: AI Settings Tool Modification
Interesting idea. Makes sense to me, too. I was suggesting something, while not similar, vaguely related, e. g. we could "combine" things, or unit abilities. The same thought could be extended onto AI, e. g. to toggle some AI behaviour (in praticular of allied heroes that keep on doing sui...

Searching for campaigns via tags
I keep on forgetting the names of campaigns. I think I can finally remember "To Lands Unknown", but I always forget the name of the other "arabian night" campaign. The one with the sexy dwarf on the bear. Anyway, I was thinking: what if we could search for this? Either online, an...

Re: To Lands Unknown, S9 - Siege of Mag-Magar (Normal)
I am replaying this campaign on normal and I am having some difficulties with this scenario. I do not mind that it is one of the harder scenarios, but there are a few annoyances IMO: - The great djinni has a tendency to suicide-run. Would be nice if his AI could be limited to be a bit more conservat...
