Re: 1.6 Crash on PowerPC Mac Running 10.4.11

Try using the file command in terminal:

Code: Select all

file /Applications/Games/Wesnoth.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/libfreetype.6.dylib
I have no idea what the problem is, but maybe it'd give some sort of clue. It should state that there's 2 files, 1 i386 and 1 mach-O executables.

http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj194/anakayub/Picture1-1.png http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj194/anakayub/Picture2.png Screenshots. Yes, I'm that lazy. This is when I used to build a separate Wesnoth server (for the 1.4, 1.5 (before penguin took over)). But I'm sure a few files may need to...

Re: How To Compile On A Mac

I stand corrected then.

EDIT: This allows savegames, app data, and editor maps. That's all my limited programming can let me (and already overkill for my use of Wesnoth). :P

Re: How To Compile On A Mac

It's basically for my personal use, but can be shared for others' use. I'm planning to add some other useful functions such as opening the Editor Maps folder and probably the "addons" folders. What I suggest you do is make the data folder the same for a series (development & stable of ...

Re: How To Compile On A Mac

Small modification to penguin's mac compile kit: It allows opening the saves folder in the Finder via the menu bar, useful for those who like to watch others' replays or upload their own without having to navigate to find it.

Re: What are you reading right now?

Aside from boring textbooks, I've been reading Osprey books, as I've not bought new books in a year, and the last military history book I bought was probably 3 years ago. Just bought the Siege of Acre 1291 and Battle of Yarmuk 636, and finished both in less than a week. Currently I'm reading God's W...

Re: support for netbooks

Again, have you tried maximizing the window (pressing the maximize window next to close window button on the right hand corner)?

I'm assuming you're on Windows.

Wesnoth will automatically adjust the window according to the screen when you press the maximize button.

By the way, Tomsik, what's your reward for us giving our effort in helping your cause?

I just played another 2/70 (2 v 2) since we discussed your formation of this new order. You owe me something the next time we meet on the server. :D

Come on, at least WC is 2/80, is that not good enough for you? Yeah, yeah it's still a scenario...but it's a campaign! It's different!

Re: How To Compile On A Mac

The former isn't important.

The latter isn't important...yet. This is probably related to the Mac port of SDL. We'll have to watch out if anything goes wrong in 10.6 Cocoa (I've seen the warning since at least Tiger).
