Re: In doubt whenever this is a crash or players quitting
Possibly relatedly, one time this happened to me in a >2 player game, and I took control of their side to droid it. When I did though, there were a couple errors that seemed to imply that they had tried to move. Here's a screenshot.

Re: Wesnoth 1.6.3
I'd just like to note that, in the Mac package, "Quit game" (when playing a game) was given the command+W shortcut. However, I didn't realize until after I uploaded it, that that shortcut has the same problem as command+Q did. I didn't think it was important enough to re-upload, but it wil...

Re: How To Compile On A Mac
For anyone else reading, this was solved (on IRC). The data and user data paths weren't being set for some reason.

Re: How To Compile On A Mac
Oh right, I forgot about that. Pretty much all files not in server/ or tests/ should go in Wesnoth, but only some of them need to go in the server as well. I basically just added them based on linker errors; so I'd start with not having them in the server, and add them if necessary (you don't have t...

Re: How To Compile On A Mac
I only have 2 image.hpp files; one in src/gui/, one in src/. I'm confused about the png thing. Could you give me the exact error? I don't find png.h anywhere in Wesnoth's sources. Also, how did you just make a libpng.framework, and what header did you put in? I was sure OS X came with libpng, but no...

Re: Wesnoth 1.7.0
Having all the header search paths recursive would indeed mess things up. What's happening is system headers (like <string> or something) are trying to include other system headers, but because of the search path setup, they're including something else with the same name instead (probably from Boost...

Re: Mounting failed
That's... odd. Are you certain it finished downloading? I'm guessing if you're using curl, you would be sure of that, but just making sure since it's the most common reason for such a problem. Otherwise maybe a problem with sourceforge? It should be 222MB, and the md5 should be: 982ecbd7a6056a64cd6d...

Re: Wesnoth 1.7.0
There isn't, but the main difference (other than having to add a few new files) is just the addition of the lua dependency. So for now, you can just download this , and put the folder into Headers, and the .a file into lib. After that, go into XCode, goto Project > Edit Project Settings. Add "l...

Re: Upgrading MacOSX Package from 1.4 to 1.6
You can try playing save games from 1.6 in 1.7, but it probably won't work. Basically, in a stable line like 1.4 or 1.6, any version in that line is compatible with any other (so 1.6.0 is compatible with 1.6.2), but not with anything else. In a development line (like 1.5 or 1.7), different versions ...

or simply a 10.3.9 compatible multiplayer server package that'll give me access to the latest server with me having to replace my entire client (I heard there are multiplayer files for separate download, but I can't find them anywhere). That part of your message I'm not sure about. But otherwise, I...

Re: Need help with Mac OSX - Sprites missing + Help with S.C.
Well, I set this all up manually (the include and library paths) so it's all self-contained. I don't know how you'd go about installing fontconfig "properly".

Re: Mac OS X BfW Combo Updater in the works
Ok, I was wrong, it doesn't work with ftp, and it can do checksums too (but I think that's secondary; it relies on first on modification dates). Shouldn't be a problem though, I'm sure we can find an rsync server somewhere (like on wesnoth.org maybe).

Re: Mac OS X BfW Combo Updater in the works
Rsync doesn't do checksums, it just looks at modification dates, which FTP provides. Should be good enough for this purpose, I think.
