The 1.2.5 mac binary image is linked with a framework you don't have and which is not shiped with it. A fixed version will be avaiable soon.

You just need to disable afloat while lauching BfW, and you're able enable it after, while playing. I checked a bit inside afloat source code, it disables itself for java applications because it should cause some troubles there. I also checked if it's possible to disable every extensions for a given...

We found the Afloat utility is breaking the game with such message.

I think it's because afloat is hacking the Window menu in the same time the game does. If you have it enable, please disable it before playing (from the System Preferences pannel) until the issue is fixed.

Version 1.2 was close, but no title screen. Same problem as before, sadly. This is after completely removing all previous caches and files. It continued in that fashion infinetely. About half of the timestamps were listed twice, though I doubt that matters much. Even though OS X comes with a Python...

The Mac Application can be run uninstalled directly from the opened .DMG file clicking "Battle for Westnoth" icon (maybe localized). To install it, drag and drop to the place you want it (typicaly "Applications"). A Mac OS X application is a bundle, you can display the content wi...

I can't reproduce it on my iBook with 10.4.8.

Try to move or remove your Westnoth folder at /Users/haunted//Library/Preferences/Wesnoth (it containts all your own datas, preferences, saved games, etc.) and check what's happen. You should start in windowed mode like this.

Re: Current Mac OS X build doesn't display Japanese correctl

Current Mac OS X build doesn't display Japanese font (sazanami-gothic) correctly. The SDL_ttf patches (src/sdl_ttf/SDL_ttf.*) seems to be not applied to the SDL_ttf.framework. By replacing SDL_ttf.framework with my original build, Japanese characters are displayed correctly. Thanks for having engli...
