Re: Wesnoth 1.13.4
If you paid a little more attention you’d notice that even though the install-time option is gone, you can still create/edit your shortcuts to change the user config+data dir to .\userdata if you have a good reason for it. I know, I read that part, I just don't understand why the option was removed...

Re: Wesnoth 1.13.4
So if I understood well, it will be not possible to install the game in the same directory as savegames ? The option of choosing before the installation, was removed ? If so I'm very disappointed, it was one of my favourite options that promotes portability of the game. And how will all the low reso...

Re: [1.13+] Oten's Mods
Ops, sorry, Yeah You right, I should have tried it first, but I have installed V1.12 of the game, and have little Hd space, If I download the mods from the server and install them manually, there is any chance that they will be compatible with BFW 1.12.5 ? Beside I tought that the Mods where combine...

Re: [1.13+] Oten's Mods
You could also reofund the money spent for the unit (or just a part of it like half, one third, one quarter or a specific percentile, in fact it would be also nice if you could select the ammount before the game in the options, if possible, but a fixed ammount is ok too), so if you need some extra m...

Re: [1.13+] Oten's Mods
I just saw your post, so I did not tried your mod yet, but I find it very interresting, so I will add it for sure to the game and leave it there.
As for the dimiss, may you can also add a "Conditional Dimiss" option, were the unit has to return in a castle hex to be able to dimiss him.

Some Hero Age balancing ?
Hi, even if I play mostly deafault era, I also often play Hero Age with my friends. Most of times we put 200 Gp per side (If not 100gp). And we both agree that the Rogue is underpriced for his utility (other ppl said the same on this forum if I remember well). Thanks to his low recruiting price and ...

Damage Rounding
Why a strong Gryphon Rider (that can do 13 points of damage) does 7 damage to the Heavy Infantry and the ghost if they have 50% resistance against blade considering that the base damage is lower than 14 even with the strength bonus ? I thought a unit needed at least to do like 14 points of damage to...

Re: Spearmen Balance
Yes, I too wrote sometime ago, that on Isar naga can always reach water villages in the first turn. As for the spearman, well he is the unit that actually keeps Loyals on par with the other factions, considering that they don't have a dedicated terrain (All others have one). And someone said that ne...

Centaurs And Elves
Something that I always wondered about, is why the Elven archer was never replaced graphically with an Centaur, It would make more sense, for example it would explain better his better mobility and defense in the woods and other terrains than average horses, and also his ability with bows while ridi...

Loyalist Bowman
It seems that he is the worst and less used archer in the game (beside against drakes maybe, but you can well play without them just by recruiting more spearmans, and they are less susceptible against counter and thus attacks and thus dead in the next turn). So should his cost not dropped to 13gp ? ...

Re: Are WML buffs rounded correctly?
Since I noticed that some units don't increase damages during attack against the dwarvish guardsman even with leadership bonus support (like the dwarvish guardsman, the bowman on day or the orcish archer at night), what is the sequence of calculations that I have to apply for time, resistance and le...

Re: confusing German translation (Unerschütterlich)
My german is no more at top levels, but after reading the description I agree with Dennis_, the current German translation is rather confusing.
I find his translation much clearer.

Re: Dwarvish Guardsmans in Survival Games (and default era)
[/quote] Then again, we should not make an unit-to-unit comparison, else you will find "overpowered" units in every faction. And your point isn't valid if the two attacker units are horsemen (assuming they get the +25% bonus from daily hours), which get thrown around a lot by loyalists. Ob...
