Re: Campaign: Invasion of Arendia
ok, now it's fixed in 0.4.3, and you shouldn't have to restart the campaign to get the fix (though if you do could someone please post about it)

Re: Campaign: Invasion of Arendia
Sounds good, if you are stuck on anything or need some help with your campaign, let me know. I just dropped the hint about IRC because it is the easiest way to get in contact with a large number of people who use SVN/could offer solutions to potential WML issues. ;) Thanks, feel free to take a look...

Re: Campaign: Invasion of Arendia
:augh: , ok, I just fixed Reth's ability problem, but in order for it to work, you have to start the campaign again, sorry. So, don't start the campaign untill you download 0.4.2 (after I upload it very soon) the good news, is that after this you should never have to do this again, ever (hopefully) ...

Re: Campaign: Invasion of Arendia
I am now (literally as I type this message) uploading the newest version of IoA (0.4.1, which reads as campaigns not scenario compelte.4 playable scenarios.first release with this many playable). Now, those of you who remember IoA (good gods I've actually been away long enough that I have to say tha...

Re: De-backgroundifying Grog & Eloh, for some reason
took about 3 mins for Eloh (because of that blue glowyness ). It's just a simple case of using the colour (black in this case) to alpha filter, then using the paint tool set to behind with black and adding the black back into the bits where it's needed (behind the person).
so yeah, Eloh:

Re: Raytracing green leather
Spot highlights seem awfully strong on the leather pieces; I would think they would have more diffuse lighting. It's supposed to be shiny, yeah, but I'd expect a little more of an all-over sheen. I agree with TL here *puts on physics hat* metal gets very bright point reflections (spot highlights, w...

you were all right - there was something fundamentally wrong with the wings :annoyed: next attempt... I can't help but think that part of the wing visible under the beak shouldn't be, as the wing should reach a joint at about the height of that feathery bit beneath his beak and then veer off toward...

Re: Some sketches
Orc in progress: the grimace. The rest will come later, I've got problems with correct shading of metallic surfaces. Much better :D Just one thing though, the far right tooth of the top row appears to be infront of the tooth next to it, despite the curve of the face. This is wrong, even if you drew...

I have found ways of tell them of protect location, and ways to tell them to target an unit. But I don't know how to make them go to locations. Any advice? sorry, I was operating on the memory of someone else mentioning it (I think that it was used in HttT), looking at the Reference WML wiki I thin...

Re: Help making runes look hand-drawn
Heh, sorry, I did do this when you posed them, using the caligraphy brush that comes with GIMP (I don't know if I have any look like quillpen filters, so I just used this instead), but my normal hanwriting is terrible enough as is, and trying to write on a surface with no friction at all didn't help...

Err... she's in a slightly crouched position, holds a dagger in her hand and smiles? What is she, some sort of a psychopath? More seriously, though, as far as I can tell, she'd fit her posing much better if the lips curved down instead of up. I don't think the original face would need much more tha...
