Re: LordBob's random stuff : wraith
I prefer the ones without visible skulls, both because the idea that the skull only shows up when a ghost reaches its final Spectre form is an interesting fluff development, and because the transition from empty-hood to armored-skull matches the sprites.

Re: new Fire Dragon
I hand-recolored the thing by taking the fire dragon's palette and replacing each color one by one, so basically I performed as many actions as there are colors in the palette. My general thought-process was to replace the orange-yellow color ramp with the tealgreen-silver ramp, and the pink-magenta...

Re: new Fire Dragon
The results of a random experiment I did shows here that a quick recolor doesn't look too bad, actually.

Re: Terrain art Alex Drummond
oh no it's an invasion of the tardises :O
They're a bit tall for normal villages but might make nice campaign-specific win condition targets or dark castles! Where was the original concept art uploaded? I don't remember seeing this ever before.

Re: Amorphous's Pixel Art
WHO DARES INVOKE MY NAME AND WAKE ME FROM MY SLUMBER?
The sprite's pretty good- it's pretty well scaled! Hand and leg were a bit awkward, so I adjusted those a bit.
Then I got carried away. Sorry bout that.

http://www.pixeljoint.com/files/icons/full/paletteknights.png Experimenting with palettes from other people! The characters are wesnoth-sized I believe but the equipment certainly isn't. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/30179243/Pixelart/Wesnoth%20Original%20Works/autumnal_sylph.PNG Cheap-hax of Jetrel's n...

Re: Jevyan
I was sort of imagining that Jevyan would have the middle baseframe until a unit attacked him for the first time in a scenario at which point he switches to the 'battle-mode' baseframe. I like the idea of Jevyan posturing as a normal humanoid lich until forced to reveal his true form.

Re: Jevyan
Oh huh, a Jevyan sprite thread. The sprite you have feels too... stout. Jevyan I've always felt was meant to be snakelike and sinuous instead of straightforward and bulky. That stubby backbone I feel is a particular offender, but the shortness of the limbs contributes as well. In addition, I'm not s...

Oh my goodness. I love the speed blurs you did on that blade- very stylish! The defense animation almost looks like it could be an idle, haha.

Re: Zerovirus's Art
To be fair, the current baseframe only has 3 legs as well; I didn't really bother to redesign it, I just redrew it in my style. Also, I think one of the reasons why I made the claws so far apart was because of the portrait for the scorpion, which had a pretty imposingly wide set of claws almost befi...
