Re: Reepurr's stuff: Rainforest shelter
So I'm back, and I'll be picking up the stuff I've been working on one by one. Since I've got a campaign and an era out there, both of which use custom sprites, I figured...

That was aimed at myself, I accidentally pressed "Submit" halfway through the post...Solikos wrote:Also, was that edit directed at me? If so, perhaps you should learn to punctuate properly before giving such tips!

Re: [engine] Friendly Unit Cell "Swap"
Several times I've wished that I could swap the positions of 2 units standing adjacent to each other that should technically be able to change spots (each expending one movement point), but due to factors such as ZOC (Zone of Control), they are unable to. This, in my opinion, is part of the tactica...

Re: Mac version of Wesnoth 1.9 crashes
]Just wondering, does the crash occur whenever there is a third side present regardless of what campaign or scenario you are playing when it happens, or only when you are playing that particular scenario Eastern Invasion? I haven't played EI recently, but there's a chance that it might be a campaig...

Re: Mac version of Wesnoth 1.9 crashes
Hi. I've been playing Wesnoth 1.9.12 after my very long Wesbreak, and I've found that it's just not working properly. My computer (Mac OS 10.4.11) really doesn't seem to like side 3, the green team. On turn 4 of the Eastern Invasion: Elven Alliance, just as the Orcs' turn starts but before they do a...

Re: Tribes of the North era pixel art
Stop beating yourself up over your sprites (which are awesome by the way). The only real problem with them is there's a few anatomical issues - but that's understandable, 'cos they're frankies.

Re: Vulcan Portraits
okay. for from me, what you described was rather elvish people, so guess your recolors are good enough. I would appreciate "homemade" portraits... :? I agree with Boldek here: your portraits are exactly what you've described. In fact, they do a pretty good job of matching your sprites as ...

Re: The Hammer of Thursagan portrait repaints
The helm appears lit from the back and front while nothing else is. The brightest highlight also cuts into the shadow in a strange way, making it feel a little like the large shadow (I'm presuming the side of the helm is supposed to be pretty much flat, right?) is spray-painted on instead of being p...

Re: artisticdude's Art, Sketches and WIP's: Bald Guys
Bald heads do look fun. :D I should try them sometime. I must say though, the central area of the sprite looks very flat. I think it's coming from the flatness of the cloth he's wearing, the armoured (?) kilt, and the fact the plate's been whited out. Those pauldrons are very good though - they look...

Re: agentorange's artwork
It's effectively just a trace over the Ruffian attack animation, right? I'm afraid to say you don't need to look carefully at all - I saw it almost instantly. There's this thing called shading, something newbies forget, that you need to do: it's a nice idea, but for it to look like something you nee...

On liberty then end the enemies just come every after noon. I was able to give my Vulcan mage http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=33924 whole lot of xp and he upgraded to lvl.5. Of course this is the last scenario so It doesn't matter. It's wierd. Oookay. That is one strange way of p...

Re: Ghost buff
Darn, I was going to attach a replay of me versus Knalgan AI, using only ghosts, but unfortunately "The uploaded file is empty". All I can really say, then, is that I had 5-6 Wraiths at the end, it was an absolute pushover, and that it only lasted 23 turns. That's a level up every 4 turns,...
