Are you talking about the Lancer?

Perhaps you should look up the English name before posting so we can understand which unit you mean - you can find them in the unit definitions in the game, or on the site linked above.

I think the point of consistency that you're arguing here is pretty artificial, and limiting. There are many units in core (as opposed to campaigns) that aren't available to the player - either in a campaign as a leader or recruitable unit, or in an MP era. But there's nothing stopping anyone from d...

I will try to sum up the current points concerning the original proposal as I see them You again fail to put forward a proposal here. All I can see in the original post is Is there any support for clearing out some of these inconsistencies? Which is not a proposal, is it? So what is the proposal, e...

Do you have any thoughts on how the macro-thing could work (logically I mean) Nothing as fancy as suggesting macros for what you type... no, I just thought that there would be some "actions" (menu / buttons whatever) that could be configured to use specific macros. For instance: ACTION_TE...

I particularly like the wizard feature (of all the proposed ones). The wml reference would have to be up-to-date, perhaps reading some html documentation that could be shipped with BfW? Some things I would consider really interesting: a) macro capabilities : standard macros should be generated where...

I don't know what you mean by "selected", but this is a way to count villages: [store_villages] variable = villages owner_side = 3 # whatever side you're looking for terrain = Gg^Vh # whatever specific villages you're looking for [/store_villages] $villages.length will then be the number o...

The inheritance works the same for the animation tags as for any other. You need to count the animations frames, and use empty tags to copy them directly, or use invalid keys to invalidate them. Really, this kind of copying gets messy - when the original unit changes, all your animation hacking is g...

It does have some requirements that require changes to the engine, though. Notably rejiggering the Poison ability to make it more flexible. Nope. All of it can be done with a couple of events: 1. a recruit event that gives each recruit the "double whopper" or "biggerism incarnate&quo...

Have you considered integrating the theory of adaptive-logic?[...] In principle the idea is to scale the AI to be progressively stronger but somewhat less than 1:1 ratio with your increase in skill, so the battle still encourages players to do well enough to win. I'm curious as to how this would de...

I don't really see the issue here. "Leadership" is clearly an ability, whereas "inspiring" or "motivating" sounds more like a trait. Also there is no unit type "Leader" or "$some_race leader", so there's no connotation with certain unit types. WINR, ...

Wait... can I just get the data on the hex moveto targets? No mucking around with arrays, just check the properties of the target hex? But you're not going to use moveto, right? Not when you have a more specific event at hand (capture). Really, zookeeper basically spelt it out. In the dev version, ...
