Re: 1.7.6 Bugs (a few of them!)

I think I have encountered bug #2 too (1.7.6 on a Mac in 10.6.1).

bad kerning

Today I have for the first time noticed that the kerning (i.e. the distance between characters in a word) is really off sometimes. I have noticed it in the tips that appear in the start screen. It does not seem to affect the text on buttons though. Isn’t DejaVu the font that is bundled with Wesnoth?...

crash at the end of 2nd round of Court of Karrag

I think that this is the same crash which I experienced. I posted on this and the post got moved (seems I chose the wrong place to post).

You can find the more detailed error report here (includes a crash log):

Crash after 2nd round in The Court of Karrag (THoT)

Campaign: The Hammer of Thursagan Scenario: The Court of Karrag Game Version: Official 1.3.14 Mac OS X build OS: 10.5.1 / intel (MacBook Pro C2D 2.33 Ghz, 2 GB RAM) I have repeatable crashes when I end the second turn of the scenario. I would have posted this to the tracker, but the links to gna.org...

no attack for necromancer and advanced poachers

Taurus, I am not sure if you were reminded that the necromancers and hunters and rangers still do not work correctly when attacking / defending. That is, when they attack, their foes cannot act, and when they are attacked, they cannot do anything. This makes these otherwise very important units only...

I guess I will wait for your update and then continue playing the campaign…

thanks!

I just tested that scenario and I am not having any problems at all. Do you think you can send me a savegame or a replay? Also, is anyone else having this problem? Sorry that it took me so long to see that you replied - somehow automatic e-mail notification for this thread did not work for me. I se...

I also got some lvl3 outlaws now. But there seems to be a problem with lvl3 poachers (rangers): When they attack, the defense is always 0-0 no matter if I use the sword or bow Ahh, thanks for pointing that out about the rangers. I know what the problem is and i'll get it fixed. I just downloaded th...

Hi, I have a severe problem with 'civil war'. All enemies are dead. Kapoe is on the post - and the scenario does not end. Kapoe reached the signpost before the last leader was dead and waited there. But moving him away and back again does not change anything. Sorry about that and thanks for pointin...

Good to hear that there is some progress again :)

Looking forward to finally finishing the campaign when the cave levels are improved a bit further

hills of shorbear clan

the wolfs in Searching for the Runecrafter are not visible Same for me. Current version of the campaign and game version 1.1.2a. In addition, the winning conditions for Hills of the Shorbear Clan do not seem to work anymore. I have killed everyone inside, have all of my units inside, put all of the...

MadMax, I strongly have to agree here. I haven't used the debug mode yet but I played this level once to turn 100, several times to something between 30 and 60, and now once again to 78. I know which way to take, I have a pretty strong force, and I have to admit that I reloaded _a lot_ (which isn't ...

ozean: you're right about a nice goodie. I'm thinking some type of magic rune that would make it easier to move through caves, but I'm not sure about how the WML would go. I'm also thinking about placing signs in the cave which would give some help on which way to go, but these signs would obviousl...

I also had great difficulties with the River of Skulls scenario – three times I played until turn 15 to 20 and finally I played one game through to turn 100. I did not even make it to the lava river about which I read here until turn 100 - the drake flamethrowers (i.e. Malakar) can only move ...

I just want to re-iterate that the "Underground" scenario is impossible to beat at this moment  An update to this scenario (and other cave scenarios) would be very welcome. I spent quite a few hours working on this before I realized that the fault is not mine and that I am not overloo...
