Sorry for the delay, here is the newest bat sprite. I am gonna go create the attack/ defend frames for right now, afterwards I'm going to create the level 2 unit Blood Bat and then I'll worry about the moving frames for the two "after" I'm finished. http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/9086...

My laptop's monitor is unfortunately too sharp and too bright for drawing finishing pictures easily. Thats the reason why the keep/castle also took so long to finish.. :( You could always buy some really cheap crt to use for finishing images and link it to your laptop when necessary... And, all of ...

Indeed, one would think a sprite-based game with not very GPU/CPU - intensive graphics etc would run smoother on older hardware.

I use Ubuntu too, or that's on our family computer.

And my problem is the opposite: I can't change away from Finnish to English, which I'd prefer to use as the Finnish one has an uncomplete translation of campaigns, for instance.

Ok, changed the ranged. Is this right? ps, I could have done this in literally thirty mins, but the annoying thing about being back at boarding school  is that they have control of all of your free time, even the weekends  , and they decided to make us all play in a table tennis tournam...

Re: The human princess...

IMO your "fixed" head looks worse than the old one. (i liked her improbably fluffy hair.) Improbably fluffy is no problem, but the old hair was sticking straight to the left, leaving the head unnaturally twisted from the body. I would disagree. The new face is just weird, and the haircut ...

I use a little program called Seashore. You might want to give that a go. It basically is the GIMP, but it's ported especially for the Mac. It seems to do everything I need it to for sprite art. For your purpose it does shadows just fine. There is a link to it on the wiki, just here . It's dead eas...

Being able to rely on the effectively extra HP from being about to level up is not crucial to campaign play. Almost all advancements are made during the player's turn anyway. But now you can rely on the computer being more hesitant to attack a 1xp from leveling unit. And even a wounded unit can now...

At least in 1.0 the title screen looks horrible on 1280x1024, BTW. Pixelized.

I thought I said I liked it, but looks like I forgot to.

EDIT: Looks like I forgot which way they went, If I'd get to choose I would prefer 4, then number one. 2 would be the last one I'd take.

Hey cool, this post jumped over two others.

On 4 it is meant to have a nice overview above the download links. That would look best at least to my eye, then. Otherwise (like currently) the news are stupidly low down, so on a 1024x768 screen you have to actually scroll down to see the news, which isn't very intuitive at least to me. New shoul...
