Re: LordBob's commissionned work
The young ogre seems a little out of place on the battlefield picking his nose...but it's still pretty funny in a way. I expect the ogres to have more body hair, somehow without a slight coat of long hair they seem a little like big fat guys and not monsters. After all, they do live up north, and fe...

Re: Wesnoth: Roll to dodge rpg!
I haste down to the conference. Tarbyth: Excitedly, you walk into the conference room, as the first people filter in. Thankfully, it appears that most counselors were busy with breakfast, so you slide into a seat near the front and begin to thumb through your notes. when will this momentous council...

Re: a comic about Wesnoth, and the forum around us.
Hi everyone!
I am not going to continue my weekly series, I am simply posting these here for a few more comics to add to this thread.
Here's two that were collecting dust in my archives, so I decided to post them today.

Re: Terrain difficulties.
And you're sure once again that the terrain definition is included correctly? Also, did you specify a graphic for the terrain with {TERRAIN_BASE}? Not sure if you really need it, but I know I used it (don't really understand TerrainWML either, so I am just guessing here). Thanks for the help! I div...

Re: why u no work, terrain?
Okay, I have a new problem that is just as weird as the last, it's gotta do with terrain. Here's some example of what's so weird about it: This is a terrain of mine. For some reason, an almost identical terrain works, but not this one, and I am not sure whether this has something to do with forest t...

Re: Confusing problems with WML...again!
Guess what! I had a utils 'hub' that had all the connections, but somehow I am losing faith in it. I put macro addresses strait to the files in the main, and now the movetype works as well.
Both problems solved!

Re: voyage to the new world
Nice story! I like your characters and portraits, the story sounds to like something straight from the Odyssey.

Re: Confusing problems with WML...again!
Both errors seem to me as if you forgot to include the files where you specify those, as I do not see any real mistake. However, I think it would complain about a missing {MENU_ITEM_OPENING} somewhere. Are you sure that you invoke {MENU_ITEM_OPENING} anywhere? And, are you sure that you invoke the ...

Re: Confusing problems with WML...again!
Hi everybody! Maybe I'm some sort of error magnet, but today my project has become bogged down with many strange and inexplicable errors that my 3rd dimensional mind has trouble figuring out. Brace yourselves for something really simple and unoticed  ... Menu item macro Today I decided to use ...

small portraits?
Hullo, this is just a quick question for the devs here: After 1.8, did the portraits in the dialogue get slightly smaller and grainier? I can't really put my finger on it, but I feel that the portaits are just a bit smaller. Are they, or is it just my mind playing tricks on me for the 1572th time?

I read before I go to sleep. Tarbith : You reach into your bag and fondly open your favorite tome, which you study for some time. As the sky darkens, you go to sleep on your bed, anxious for the morning. Status: in bed, within a room in Havenspire. Inventory: Walking stick (nearby) Tome: (in pack) ...

Re: Boldek's art dump: OP killer sniper rifle marines!
It's hard to see the HUD because it is similar value (brightness) to skin color. You may want to add more contrast there. As for sniper rifle, I don't think the bipod is very needed here - it is not particularly prominent on original model, and scope seems to be enough to sell the idea that it is a...
