Oops, sorry about that. Replied by PM earlier today, didn't see this thread until now.

Both of the new ones are good. I like the hair especially.

Re: It is gone again Art Topic

There is a fun SA thread where we've been playing through the Lone Wolf series. Here is some of my fanart:

Re: wizzardz: White Mage

The 'masculinity' remarks are unrelated to what I meant. Doesn't really bother me. @ kestenvarn: she is supposed to calmly, intospectively pose for a portrait :P - but i fear you're the minority, you're the only one who thinks she's too doll-like, all the others call her too manly (even if i would r...

Re: wizzardz: White Mage

Her expression is strange, doll-like. I can't really tell what it is supposed to be - what face is she making?

The grey leather is better. Nice hair.

Re: Castle Tutorial? | Water-Chasm Transitions

Sorry - that looks like a solid black hex with my gamma settings. The changes didn't appear until I raised it from 1.00 to 1.63.

Re: It is gone again Art Topic

For some reason I don't remember, Jetryl linked to this in an earlier thread to mention how the fairy was drawn. Maybe the subject was how odd it was to draw certain female monsters wearing clothes? And this was an alternative method of preserving decency... Anyways, I found this related strip a bit...

Re: Castle Tutorial? | Water-Chasm Transitions

I dont know if this is the right place for this question but... If we have animated water we would probably soon have animated forests (treas moving in the wind etc), and i remember from another thread that some suggested snowfall and such things. :? Water is one of the few things you do see common...

Re: Castle Tutorial? | Water-Chasm Transitions

Been busy the last few days, so instead have been thinking of different things to look at as inspiration. Two that came to mind were the water from Starcraft and the water from certain 16bit RPGs. Maybe animated.

Re: Map of the world

The problem with making a map of the world is that once the map is done either new era lands can't be created in that area or the map has to be updated to add them in. Unless the map is done "old style" and the further you get from Wesnoth, the less accurate it gets and the more blank &qu...

Re: Castle Tutorial? | Water-Chasm Transitions

I have to correct myself on the two "blobs". The transition needs to cover the whole inner hex, otherwise the other terrain would show through the chasm wall. *That's* why the black is there. Makes sense. I can see this isn't going to be enough as-is: http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a13...

Thanks for the template, mesilliac. I do wonder a bit about certain parts of the concave one, though:
