Re: The Dark Hordes rise from the dead....again

Aw dang! I just realized I had a translation update for this sitting on my computer for the past two months. I'll attach it for you here anyway, as it provides corrections to some incorrect strings and adds a few others.

Re: Ice Age Fun and Japhel's Journey

Many thanks again! These look awesome in game. I guess I'm going to finally have to work on a new IAF version... In other news, I have gotten impatient on ironing out everything in an OCD way and decided just to upload the newest version of Japhel's Journey (0.3.5). These are the things I c...

I'm pretty sure you can. Otherwise we wouldn't have To Lands Unknown, would we?

Re: Ice Age Fun and Japhel's Journey

Good to know! That means the new version of SCE is okay as well.

So, it's taking a bit longer than I thought to get the new version of JJ ready. The coding for this is a bit more complex than I thought. Maybe another day or two and it'll be up and running.

Re: Shameless Crossover Excuse Revived

So, after another long hiatus I released another edition of SCE. Version 1.1.0 is sitting on the 1.9 server, all ready for it's 1.10 incarnation. The following changes have been made: Deprecated terrain removed from maps in scenarios 1 and 9. Kapou'e can recall his units in scenario 9. Villages awar...

Re: Ice Age Fun and Japhel's Journey

dammit I'm supposed to get e-mails when people respond to this thread... Yeah, I've been gone a lot lately. Got a job and stuff which cut my Wesnoth time to ~0 and then got sick recently. So then I haven't been working but I've been quite unmotivated to work on my projects since then. Anyway, the b...

I remember reading about a Chinese legend that said dragon eggs needed 3000 years incubation to hatch...

[mainline] (%d turns left) use plural forms in translation

While going through the wesnoth textdomain .po file I came across the string for "(%d turns left)". Is there a reason that the string doesn't allow usage of the plural forms to change the string based on # of turns left, or is it just an oversight? Assuming it's not an oversight, my idea i...

Re: Ice Age Fun and Japhel's Journey

Was this recently? IAF should have all the macros working, though a bit of the WML needs to be reworked to better fit with 1.9.9. In fact, it loads just fine on my computer. IAF does not require any other eras either. Only Japhel's Journey requires use of Age of Dinosaurs to function. So, like in my...

Re: Liminal Alignment

So, to make sure I understand this correctly:
As of 1.9.10, the possibility for liminal units will again exist within the game. However, they never receive any ToD buffs to their attacks, only nerfs. Is that right?

Granted. It is a water bed they filled with scalding hot water...bla bla bla horrible zero-esque things happen here bla bla bla... you die.

I wish we could go back to a simpler forums games sub forum, with only eight games instead of eighteen.

Re: Ice Age Fun and Japhel's Journey

Hello Njord, Thank you for your feedback. At this point, I would like it if you can provide me with a few additional details, primarily: 1. What version of Wesnoth are you playing? 2. What version of Ice Age Fun are you playing? 3. Do you know how to attach a replay? If you can, please do so. 4. Did...

Granted. You know ancient Greek, and no longer do you understand English. The only people you can speak with now are extreme history buffs and students in seminary.

I wish that we'd get the better contributors back to contributing, like Zero, Neoskel, TSI and Major. Dey iz awsum! :P

I've always been fascinated by these firsthand accounts, they're much more interesting than some of the random bather in this thread.
Me too! :D
