Re: new veteran sprite (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

I guess he was a bit of a low-rider. I think this fixes it.

Now that you mention it, I think I did the same thing with the signalman & flareman. This fighter line is a mess, I need to rethink it.

Re: The Raven's Wings Artwork: Hunter Sprite

His arms are too small and the spear is in an awkward position, maybe flip it horizontally.

I think I see what you were trying to do with the head & hood, but it looks like you ran out of room. I suspect he'll need a bigger head.

Re: 1.4 Campaign: Bad Moon Rising (0.2.6 - 15 scenarios)

0.2.7 is now on the server.

There are some graphics improvements and I added some notes to the objectives, to avoid any confusion.

A first pass at Part III is also included. It is an attempt at something different, kind of like Saving Elensefar.

Re: new veteran sprite (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

Thanks, Garen Voh.

I altered the legs, left outline, spear, and shadow. I kept the armor dull intentionally.

Re: main villain - 3rd try (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

This is the new veteran, the old veteran is now "officer" (until I can think of a better name, not captain or lieutenant). So now the level 1 spearman can become a level 2 spearman, kind of like the loyalists. No level 3. Just now I notice the shadow and spear shaft don't look so good, but...

Re: 1.4 Campaign: Bad Moon Rising (0.2.6 - 15 scenarios)

Strange, I'll look into it. Could you post the save files?

EDIT: Those scenarios loaded fine for me. Maybe they were old save files.

Re: main villain - 3rd try (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

Thanks, Garen Voh. I darkened the gold a bit. It must depend a lot on surroundings or finish, a gold-plated object that I consulted looks bright and yellow to me, but those coins are dark, and the finger jewelry thing referenced earlier in this thread was orange. I think this is the final version: h...

Bigger Portrait Sizes

Hi, Is there any chance the portrait sizes could be increased? 205 was fine for the old flat style, but the new style suffers. Every picture I've seen here looks better in the bigger version. Is there a reason for 205, aside from inertia? This might belong in Ideas Forum, but the intended audience i...

Re: main villain - 3rd try (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

Your guys really like to do that arm thing huh? Yes, they do. Angry villains, seems like a reasonable pose to me. There also seem to be an awful lot of wrinkles which suggests a very fine fabric being scrunched. That was intentional. Taught sleeves aren't though. I guess the problem is closer to th...

Re: main villain - 3rd try (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

Thanks. Minor edits to Scarrion: To break the impression of a taught sleeve, wrinkle goes up into the shoulder. Also, a little more green to the eyes. NewScarrion6e_205.png And now I see Huric, one of three or four main characters, doesn't look so good. So I'm trying to fix him. The shirt is suppose...

Re: Campaign: Love To Death

Hi, I downloaded the campaign and looked at some of the files (I haven't had a chance to play it though). It looks like you have some workfiles in the images folder (.gif & .svg for example), does the campaign directly use those or can you remove them? As you say, the music is the reason for the...

Re: main villain - 3rd try (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

Thanks Drake General and Garen Voh, I guess it was a silly idea. The sleeve's contrast is a bit high for cloth, but I think it gives it a shimmering look which I'm happy with. I think he's done, but that may be because I've been looking at it for too long, so fire away if you see something wrong. Th...

Re: The Raven's Wings Portraits: Lathadarë

Maybe if you made the top of his arm less bright. Here's a quick example of what I would do (but then, I don't always do the right thing).

Re: main villain - 3rd try (Art for campaign Bad Moon Rising)

A little more progress. The shirt was big and boring, so I thought maybe if he was wearing some armor underneath it, that would break things up a bit. Or look really stupid and impractical. Not sure. I only did one shoulder, I would need to do the other and also something with the chest. I'm hoping ...
