Wesnoth could use some kind of further code documentation, .. Currently, the header files are the most documented part. it would be nice to have a friendly guide .. and also describe the purpose of each file in an arranged format. Even better if it contains some diagrams of some sort. One good tool...

Does those two tools only work on the 1.3.x series wmllint can be used to "up-convert WML and maps between versions", but might have problems on 1.2.x maps with custom terrains. wmlindent just reformats wml-code without looking at the syntax. WML has basically not changed, so it should wo...

Last week, I submitted a patch that colorizes the info on units
in help (table of resistance, defense and movement).
The patch has not been applied yet, I got no questions or mail ,
