Re: Campaign idea pitch
Well considering that in IftU, Mal Kesher gets disintegrated twice and is not destroyed, perhaps foolish hero thought he was disposed of. I don't say dead because he was already dead since he became a lich.

Re: Anybody able to beat two AI opponents?
Actually in 1.0 I was gosu level against 1 AI and could clobber two if given one particular matchup, but that was due to me abusing a balance problem the AI did not comprehend.

Re: Acquiring Death Knights
That's OK, Death Knight is rather overpowered in MP anyway. WCs get a 75% boost from its leadership.

What you never play gryphon swarm?
I play it from time to time, particularly on maps with two areas divided by water.

It is not necessary to defeat either leader in that scenario, nor even enter that room at all.
Wait in the passageway below until the scenario objective changes.

Re: What new terrain would be Great for your UMC?
I've always been disappointed there's no good way to show elevation difference
In "The High Plain" in Story of the Wose it's not at all obvious that most of the map is supposed to be a mesa.

Well considering if you lift it to geosync, it would already have orbital velocity and they want it to orbit more slowly than that straight up would be pretty close to the most energy efficient way.

Re: Phylactery for liches?
The demilich was a unit available in pre-1.0 wesnoth, for the old mainline campaign the Dark Hordes (an undead campaign never finished and withdrawn). The unit was mainline for 1.0 through 1.1.1, which is indeed the source of the Demlich unit in Story of the Wose. I think resurrecting this unit (no...

Re: Phylactery for liches?
Well if I were to be a writer: Perhaps the reason Wesnoth can have such a high number of liches per capita is the lich creation spell is fundamentally simpler than in the D&D rules and so gives no option for a soul jar to exist. To become a lich, one must first die. The spells of necromancy bind...

I added a warning indicator for where not to stand while the cave collapses, kind of as suggested by xudojnik.
It is *committed* to trunk so you'll see it in the next release.

Re: Updated Story of the Wose
Thirdly, the fact that in the description of woses it clearly states that woses aren't related to trees at all although they are similar in apperence but are actually closer to the fairy family. To which I can say, "The elves weren't there. They wouldn't know." You see, I actually take is...
