there could always be something that tells you if your opponent is moving pieces, whether or not you can see them. kinda like when a chat application tells you that the other person is typing.

There should be an option to limit the amount of time that a player has per turn. Mostly to prevent games from lasting 3 days because a player forgot it was his turn.
