Re: Level 0 units is important for campaign!
Take a look around addons, there are many probably useful L0s over there.

Re: Wesnoth Unit Creator! Updated!
I haven't found dor example any of the drake's movetypes (drakefoot, drakefly)
The support to not overriding resistnces is that a movetype provides a resistance, but you don't provide an option to use movetype's instead of yours provided value. So the movetype's value is always overriden

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
@Battlecruiser_Venca My point wasn't that undead should be genderless, just that things whose gender can't be determined and can't breed anyway shouldn't distinguish between male and female. Liches for example don't have male or female forms, so that a lich coming from a female necromancer can't ha...

Re: (6p) Great Valley
There is too much forest on both map sides, I actually suppose that a top vs bottom MUs will be played there. The forests are abusable for elves, which are too strong on the sides on the map. and the cave "backyard" is only useful for village grabbing, there isn't any fighting over there, ...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Hm, the game engine doesn't preserve gender when plauging, but does when andvancing. All the undead should be "genderless" as they're something remotely-controlled by a necromancer (something like regular zerg in starcraft). So Liches are the exception because the original necromancer from...

Re: "Noob" (Isar)
Can't you move your general after making your first three units to take a village and then on your second turn move him back and recruit again? He must be able to do the "triangle" defined by 2 villages and keep. I think that it requires a 6mp leader to do so but either way you need a rea...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
I don't know how you see it, but I refer to skeletons as 'he' regardless of gender. I am no anthropologist and I can't tell the gender of a skeleton according to the sizes and shapes of some bones. Voices we usually give to skeletons are either guttural growls or guttural shrieks, where in both cas...

Re: Archaic Era (for BfW 1.12.x)
As specialist unit, give them a movement buff, let's start with 6mp. The main problem is that we need to make them attractive compared to the 50 dmg potential at neutral TOD + healing at L2 which we can't touch because of Trinity balance. So the possible buffs are: 1) A movement buff, possibly skirm...

Re: Archaic Era (for BfW 1.12.x)
1. South-Seas Seahag/SeaScourge: Fog (now called "Mind Fog") should work more like it was intended, and kind of the opposite to how it used to work. It now makes opposing magical attacks have a 20% chance to hit. One bug I'm aware of is that the AI knows nothing about it, so it will usual...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
After looking more into advancements, the Lich King unit should also have a female unit name (as you can acquire female Lich King by advancing a female dark sorceress into lich and then lich king) but this variant shouldn't be available by default

Re: Archaic Era (for BfW 1.12.x)
Another balance thingy - South-Seas fastest unit has 6 base mp. Mainline maps do expect that all faction have an unit with 8 base mp, so South-Seas are in a big disadvantage at map control. (Primevals have 7 base mp max, but I don't think that it is really a problem since they have strong units, so ...

When trying out the LotI Mod in a MP campaign it looked that it only affected the first scenario of a campaign. Is that a Wesnoth bug?

Re: "Noob" (Isar)
But with 3 recrutied units alltrough you've grabbed all the villages by the turn 2, you're vulnerable to rushes 'cause your leader is two turns away from keep (unless some special situations but those are more likely to execute a rush, so they'll never underrecruit) for bringing reinforcements, whic...
