Re: A Song of Fire: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews
But I did make earth elementals appear to cover the heroes, they are quite resistant against the saurians' piercing attacks. Were Jevyan and Ravyan still low-level when you played the scenario? The elementals appear on the other side of the flankers. I did what any sane person would: put highest hp...

Re: A Song of Fire: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews
Just played through the first chapter of this campaign, v0.2.1, normal. Thoughts on random scenarios: Monstrous Help Great idea with the summoned spiders! Lighting Strike Definitely my favourite scenario in Chapter I, very exciting. Player's rather limited resources vs. overwhelming force of lvl2 dr...

Re: The Library of Kratemaqht [SP Campaign]
Heh, didn't expect it to end so abruptly after The Evacuation (just when I finally decided to level up Shifty!), I was totally hoping for some dragon action later on. :D Like I said, the campaign is extremely well done, maps are varied and tactically interesting, everything looks balanced (turn limi...

Re: The Library of Kratemaqht [SP Campaign]
Alright, thanks. Too bad though, I didn't get much use out of my wonderteam (three loyal, strong royal guards ) and the student line really doesn't have much going for it.
Anyway, I will give proper feedback when I'm finished with the campaign.

Re: The Library of Kratemaqht [SP Campaign]
This is a great campaign, the custom dragon in particular was amazing. Also, unusually for Wesnoth, I'm enjoying the story a lot. Quick question: am I supposed to lose the entire recall list except for scholars in Evacuation? I mean, it says Pass of Batos is the last battle with Jevyan's units, but ...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
Like a roar coming from the cage when you get near the leader, or something like that. Good idea.

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
You didn't care much about the 'Elvish Hunter' units. Except the loyal one, none survived. Oh yeah, still think I played well? :D I read the warning at the start and should have probably protected those hunters better, but to be honest, I didn't think I would get to play elves again later on. Also,...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
Your strategies leaves nothing to complain about. Watching the replays, it is hard to believe they are 'first time played'. Thank you. Believe it or not, (almost) all scenarios are first attempts, because I always try to ironman in turn based games. I.e. only allow myself to reload, from turn 1, on...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
Here's the first batch, Lord Veogwyn replay is corrupted for some reason.
All scenarios are "first time played."
Second batch tomorrow, because I'm tired from watching myself play (man, that came out wrong) to check if files are not corrupted.

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
So why didn't you recruit/recall inside the mines to build a second front? Probably because I'm a moron and didn't notice the multiple free keeps in the throne room...anyway, turns out recruitment wasn't even necessary - heavies barely did any fighting. Heh, this scenario becomes much easier once y...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
Thanks, much appreciated! So you pushed east quickly and didn't send Antar through the "hidden entrance" (even though it's hinted in the dialogue to do just that, so that's what I did, playing for the first time). In my game, the tunnel right behind the eastern leader was chock-full of und...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
I defeated the undead armies too, and easily accomplished the scenario objectives. (I moved my entire army along with Antar, and recruited off of my opponent's keeps once I killed them) I don't get it, you either engage the undead outside, or move units with Antar. Oh well, doesn't matter, evidentl...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor [Singleplayer Campaign Feedback Thr
Scenario 8: The Dwarves One of the dwarves says that the undead forces are superior, but I took them on anyway and defeated both death knights pretty easily, all the time moving Antar through the mines to the throne room. Thought that was a smart thing to do. Then objectives change and suddenly I'm ...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor
It is a bit harder for the player this way, and that is exactly what I want. Heh, alright, that I can understand. :D I finished it on first try anyway, losing just one dwarf, more to my lack of attention than overwhelming odds, so yeah, maybe being able to select the best squad would make it too ea...

Re: Antar, Son of Rheor
IIRC, the game recalls all the units that you recruited/recalled in the previous scenario. Oh, that's right, I read up on this thread a bit. I'm not sure I like that. I mean, those lvl1 dwarves are basically forced on the player, increasing the number of spawned goblins and, let's face it, are kind...
