Re: 1.4 Campaign: Bad Moon Rising (0.4.1 ~ 17 scenarios)

Hey,
I'm just playing Bad Moon Rising, and I really like it!!!

It's only a bit too easy, especially Part I.

But if you need a translator for german language I volunteer. ;-)

Re: Multiplayer problem

Well, you're probably right, but :hmm: wouldn't it be somewhat unethical to - infect someone else with that wicked addiction (it'd be kinda like being a drug dealer ;-)) - have someone play Wesnoth to have an easy victim for building up my confidence? And imagine they'd defeat me. THAT would be toug...

uhm, no.
Because that would force me to live with the shame of defeat even in real life.

Re: Multiplayer problem

Thanks for clarification, ekson. All I knew was that it was some kind of ranking list.

But I fear that participating in that would only increase my self-confidence problem. Let me get a bit better first, then I might consider joining it.

Re: Multiplayer problem

We might be of a similar skill level, incidentally (the whole "crush the AI/low multiplayer experience" thing). You don't happen to be part of the ladder or something? No, I'm not in the ladder. Are you? Actually I must admit I don't even have much of an idea what that ladder-thing is abo...

Re: Multiplayer problem

Sorry for not returning to this thread earlier. Thank you for all your kind responses. Good to hear that some people know that kind of problem. Well, I had a few good MP games recently, and even won the last two. 8) (Well, my team won...) Telling everyone that I'm new and a coward is really h...

Multiplayer problem

Hope that this is placed correctly here... I have a terrible problem when playing Wesnoth against other humans - the problem is much the same with e.g. playing chess or anything like that against humans-: I'm too nervous. I cannot think about strategy or tactics because my mind is occupied thinking ...

In general I suppose that whenever you have chaotics vs. chaotics, or neutrals vs. neutral, or lawful guys vs. lawful guys - then you can ignore the day-night-schedule.

Re: Scenario Review: AOI 1 - Defend the Forest

Just a word about that whole campaign: even the "hard" difficulty level is way too easy. I never needed more than ten turns to finish any of its scenarios. In most cases it was done after seven turns. :annoyed: So maybe re-lable "hard" into "normal", or increase the dif...

Hallo,

wuerde gern irgendwas zu Battle for Wesnoth beitragen. Besteht die Chance, ins Uebersetzerteam aufgenommen zu werden? Oder euch sonst irgendwie zu helfen?

Re: Scenario Review: SotBE 11 - Clash of Armies

"Cheating" is such a hard word... let's call it "searching for alternative solutions", okay? But actually I would not like to cheat. I'd rather try to deal with the challenge you gave me. But I'm playing on 1.4.something. So I guess it's time for an upgrade. Btw: I stil...
