I don't see a system where there is a lot of people in the top 100 ladder a problem, comparing to the number of people who plays it.
And yes, there is 100 people, since everytime you log in there is about 10 people on. On weekends there is at least 20.

I think more people would support this if it was harder to cheat in the games. Like dave said, multiplayer needs to be improved for this to happen. Like account management for example. Yeah, but it doesn't say things from all campaigns.

The developers could consider wich campaings are valid for wesnoth history, that way the history could be build up as campaigns are build.

Well, they do need a lot of experience to get to level 3, unlike level 2, and are weaker than most level 3 units.

Most people just want to have fun with this game. There should be a ladder with the 100 best players, and an option to play a game that is worth points. So people could chose if the game they play would give/take them points or not. The normal games wouldn't worth points and wouldn't be in the ladde...

How about a new page on wiki, inside the game history, wich tells the history of many places, picking information from a lot of different campaigns? For example, Elesenfar Home of Morgoth Defended against the undead by outlaws (Liberty) Orcs invaded it Konrad saved it again (HttT) Bay of pearls Home...
